ROMs, BIOS and videos are not part of the system repository. rogpOS stores the code, execution contracts and metadata necessary for the runtime. The collection remains under separate control.
Import with review
The game stream starts with a reading preview. Ambiguous files, computer installers, and content that are not recognized ROMs are excluded from automatic import. The import uses SHA-256 to identify items already present and avoid repeated byte-by-byte copies.
What happens to the files
After successful copying and verification, the process organizes source ROMs instead of erasing them. Unrecognized files remain available for manual review. BIOS and files that require specific treatment are also excluded from common import.
In the interface
There is work implemented for library per platform, filters, gallery, search and game profile. These screens still need to complete the visual and navigation gates in the hardware before they can be presented as ready.
